Re: Worlds crappiest switchblade thread.

Whoa Mike! You can't overwhelm us all at one time with a group shot!...lol

I wouldn't be surprised if you got some crap from me. Over the years I have often unloaded cheapies included with the knives I have sold.

Re: Worlds crappiest switchblade thread.

Crappy knife of the day is another lighter/knife combo. Lighter doesn't seem to work but I'm too lazy to find my can of butane. Blade is scary dull with tacticool cut outs! One side sports a spider and the other ol glory!  IMG_20240418_105908252.jpg IMG_20240418_105925511.jpg IMG_202...

Re: Imitation Horn

Had to bring this thread back up because Sammy has been slacking off (or most likely ja##ing off)...

I stopped in a little town today called Woodbury. It reminded me of Mayberry and this thread.

Jim, any exciting news out of Mayberry?

Re: Worlds crappiest switchblade thread.

Not the best knives for sure but some guys collect them. My first otf knife was the NATO version from the EDGECO catalog in the late 70's/Early eighties.

Re: Worlds crappiest switchblade thread.

Those were pretty popular for awhile when the Joker used one in one of the Batman/Joker movies. I don't think I ever owned one.

Worlds crappiest switchblade thread.

Here is where you post the cheap, the bad, and the ugly. No knife snobs allowed...  I found this little OTF knife in my junk box today. It doubles as a cigarette lighter and an otf knife. I don't remember where it came from but I have had it a long time. It actually isn't half bad and wo...

Re: Boker Kalashnikov

A couple with the boxes. I think I have a smaller one also somewhere.

Re: Boker Kalashnikov

I wonder if they still come in the box that is shaped like a rifle magazine? I also notice that most of the new ones I looked at seem to have D2 blade steel now. All the older ones had AUS8. AUS8 wasn't the fanciest steel but it always seemed easy to keep an edge on for me. I don't think I have a kn...

Re: Forgotten auto

I once bought a large box of these type of knives from Magnum (wonder what happened to Jessie). There were a few dozen of every shape and style. Some were in sizes and styles I have never seen since. Some were pretty cool. Like Mario mentioned, some had lights. Some were lighters. Some had compasses...

Re: Forgotten auto

There were quite a few different Chinese autos back 15-20 years ago with the "USA Super Knife" branding. Usually on the box. Some better than others but mostly all pretty crappy.

Re: Boker Kalashnikov

I'm sort of acting on the "advice" of whippersnapper. While he didn't directly advise me in this, he lamented on another thread, which I can't currently recall or locate, not having bought one years ago. As I've stated many times, I love switchblades, but I don't have any practical use for any that...
