Have there been any updates on this AGA knife?
Last May there were some pics of this AGA square-button cross knife but I have seen no updates since then. Does anyone know if this one is going into general production any time soon?

This one was designed by some person who lived like 80 years ago.

Great, thanks. It's looks pretty cool and I have been wondering why no one has made a square-button knife in a long time. Though, I can't say I love the Chinese-style safety slot.

Re: Have there been any updates on this AGA knife?
Renzo Pascotto has designed many knives for AGA including the 13" swinguards, 13" wasp bodied picklocks as well as 10" and 11" regular picklocks, various Catalanas and Frosolones. These don't look like his work.

One of the "A.G.A. Campolin dealers" on FB says he's got these Black Widow's on the way to sell. Warns a price in the $700 range.

Thanks Dave. Do any Americans design knives for AGA?
Re: Have there been any updates on this AGA knife?
Dave aka ilikestilettos has offered AGA, Angelo, a few of his designs, but AGA hasn’t taken him up on his offers.

Bumping the thread now that they're available. Anyone else eyeballin' these? In spite of the high price, I was ready to pull the trigger, but after watching the (somewhat amusing) video, it appears that they're using a one-piece kick and backspring arrangement, which is usually a deal-breaker for me. Why bother building an expensive, premium collector's piece if you're gonna chintz out on the springs like that?
