Coricama 8”
I bought this diamond in the rough she’s got a bent tip and lots of scratches on the blade and a few cracks around the button on the horn, but I’m in love anyway after a bit of work I’m sure she will look fine.
I was just noticed it has parts numbers the blade is stamped 116 and so are the two brass liners could someone tell me more ?
Hope you all like it
Joe

Nice one! Looks to be a mid-1950s/early 1950s model. Are the buttons magnetic?
Re: Coricama 8”
Great score, definitely a keeper
Re: Coricama 8”
Nice grab. Your pics make it look better than the ones in the seller's ad. I like the heavy patina on the backspring. Almost looks like it's been cold-blued. Quite a contrast to the stainless blade.

I see those types of numbers on the older picklocks. They had some significance to the guy putting the pieces together but don't mean much to anyone else.

Those made with the CORICAMA INOXID stamp and red dot and steel/plated buttons are mid-1950s until the early 1960s. Mostly these are found in Europe and South America.Lucentcrow wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2019 6:47 am Malteseflatguard
