The WIP is on theJD
The JD Flip them off, is a build off only about balisong set up by the balisong alliance by Ron labella on the Jerzeedevil forum. As i participated to all the build off since 2007 on the JD and two time with a balisong. I had to play on that one too

That is the nicest set of handles I have seen on a Bali.
You should win the build-off with that masterpiece.
Do you think you will ever make another Freestyle Prehistoric Bali? That is the damndest Bali on earth.
I want one

Thank you , i have had a demand for a prehistoric balisong, i'm not sure to make one with twisted handle , but the blade will be "stoned" in steel
Re: Scimitar Bamboo Balisong : JD Flip them off entry
I do love the "stoned" texture on the Prehistoric. Is that difficult to achieve? Maybe a Prehistoric with handles "stoned" as well as the bladecardoso5fr wrote:Thank you , i have had a demand for a prehistoric balisong, i'm not sure to make one with twisted handle , but the blade will be "stoned" in steel
I would like a large folder with "stoned" handles like the one in this photo with a 4 inch carbon steel blade instead of the 154 CM.
That would be a bad-*ss knife! You ever make one like that let me know

That's one wicked looking blade. Beautiful work.

Thank you . To stoned a blade i grind the bevel and after i "toxify" the blade. For an handle that is more or less a toxification too, with a variation between hgh and small grit in order to simulate the various statch on the stone
