Custom Grind on mikov?

Post by ktonix »

Would doing a custom grind job on a mikov blade be advisable
or worth the effort?I dont have a belt grinder so this would be definatly all dremel work / fileing and sanding.

here is a quick concept :)

Why?
If you want it to be different, it sure would be-but I wouldn't do it.

interesting, looks like you strayed a bit from your original design. But freewheeling is good sometimes.

i got a cutting and realised that some parts where not thick enough for that design
im putting the new polish on it tommorrow
so ill post some pictures soon

Also considering this is the first time ive ever done something like this , yet alone never used a dremel and files like this , it didnt come out too bad.
