What are the methods for peek repair?
I have to assume there’s not one way to fix this?
Replace sear pin, add metal to sear hole is the fast and easy answer.
Is there any guidance to to using similar metals so they wear evenly?
Any other concerns or consideration to think about?
Thanks

You can move metal where it needs to be moved.
The only way to properly add metal is by micro welding. This is not an option for most people. Laser welding can be done without affecting heat treating of parts.
