fixing Bug Bites [ properly ]?

Hi Folks , what material is best for doing repairs to bug bites in horn ? and is there a product the`s able to be "tinted " to match ??? i`ve used 2part clear epoxy and tinted it with automotive paints,,,, it worked o.k. but was still a fairly noticeable repair and didnt sand that well or deck well and messy . Any suggestions ? , J

Super glue, or clear casting resin is what I use. Neither are perfect.

I agree with Bill , super glue works somewhat ....I've also mixed dust from the material I was sanding in the super glue to "tint" .....works , sometimes
