Do you want to talk about your beautiful country, family, or dog? Would you like to say where you went on holiday or how you arranged the garden? Are you willing to tell us you girlfriend left you for a(nother) loser? Do you have ANY non knife-related topic you want to discuss? This is the place!

Pushbutton-
Still have my Fanner 50 and my Shootin' Shell snub-nose 38 somewhere. Both pretty beat up but they work. Now I need me some Greenie Stick-Em Caps. I also had a Combat! set that had a uniform with sergeant stripes, a helmet with netting, a grenade, a set of dog tags, and a Thompson. Great memories.

There's a thin line between fishing and just sitting in a boat. :D

A friend of mine had a (James Bond?) toy briefcase with a button in the handle that fired a plastic bullet through a hole in the case. Bunch of other spy-type stuff in there as well. I had a toy Rifleman rifle with extra large rounded lever and also a sawed-off lever action rifle that I think came from a Steve McQueen western series called Wanted Dead or Alive.

Wally, I have a couple of those manuals my own self. Favorite being the Army's: Survival, Evasion, and Escape. A wealth of information for the outdoorsman. Mike Echanis's book: Navy Seal/U.D.T. Knife Fighting and Throwing for Combat is also top notch. And who can forget the Fire Service's tome on Flamable Hazordous Materials, a must read for the amature chemistry buff.

My favorite Field/Technical manuals - the assorted Improvised munitions and sabotage/demolitions :!: Why :?: Because you NEVER know when some types of knowledge may be useful
S.E.E. is more useful in many instances

Ditch the fish. I recommend something more like what I like. Search for a picture of Sardonicus. The man who thought he was a big ticket lottery winner 'til he realized the ticket was in his recently departed and buried father's pocket, so, AS he was un-earthing the grave, a creeping horror came over him, and in a fit of maniacal laughter, was suprised to find his face frozen in a wide rictus grin. Seems perfect for ya'.

AS ever,

Your ol' pal,

Wally J. Corpse
Starring Guy Rolf as Dr. Sardonicus himself. Another of the great films from Hammer in the late 1950's. Interesting esoteric and obscure reference there, Wally.
