RIP Chris Edwards

Do you want to talk about your beautiful country, family, or dog? Would you like to say where you went on holiday or how you arranged the garden? Are you willing to tell us you girlfriend left you for a(nother) loser? Do you have ANY non knife-related topic you want to discuss? This is the place!

RIP Chris Edwards

Post by barshoo »

Dear fellow Knife enthusiasts,

I received an email from Sharon Edwards a half hour ago notifying me that Chris Edwards passed away suddenly yesterday. He suffered a heart attack. This is all that I know right now. Chris and I exchanged emails just the day before yesterday in regards to my Due Buois that I listed for sale here. If and when I hear more information, I will post it here.

Sadly yours,

Barb

Oh Dear Lord! So very sudden! So terribly sad news. Thoughts and prayers to his friends and loved ones. I'm shocked. R.I.P. our friend Omega.

Does anyone remember Omega's grandmother?? Chris had a riotous sense of humor, and no doubt, so did she!!! Here is a picture of her that Chris posted on Talkblade in the early 2000's...

Can't believe how suddenly these things can happen...

Chris provided countless valuable insights on modern Italian knives for me, and had a wealth of knowledge about knives in general. We lost a friendly, knowledgeable member and he will be greatly missed.
