It was a good one here. My Wife found her real father 2 years ago via ancestry.com and he came to visit this weekend.
She found out that the guy she thought was her father for over 55 years was indeed not.
Her biological father is a great guy; an old Biker, Hotrodder and he loves and collects guns.
We get along great win, win all around. 8)

Good for you, Billyfish! Just pray for us whose children are dead or estranged. I am the only one left in my family and my children (the living ones) don't know me. It is truly sad.

Life goes on.

Oh man, I'm so sorry Fishtail.
You got a big prayer from me mate.
Mother's Day was the worst for my son and I; his mother decided life was too much for her when he was 3.
The hardest thing I have ever had to do in my 72 years was to break the news to the little boy who just couldn't understand or wrap his head around the concept that he was never going to see his Mom again. Those were tough years ; I finally found the right woman when he was 13 and we've been married for 25 years.
It was so good to get a call from him today; he's happily married 10 years now and I have two Grandsons.
