Do you want to talk about your beautiful country, family, or dog? Would you like to say where you went on holiday or how you arranged the garden? Are you willing to tell us you girlfriend left you for a(nother) loser? Do you have ANY non knife-related topic you want to discuss? This is the place!

Welcome to the forum and the safety isn't working if it can be opened in any position. It can be fixed but the scale on the button side will have to come off to do it if the knife is a stiletto.

Hi Josh, and welcome! Gee, the A.G.A. Campolin Piccolo is a very new addition to the Campolin family of knives. Hate to hear of it's safety issue for you. As Sammy said, you may find temporary fixes, but the real fix is under the scales. That may (or may not) be something to place in the "Ask Bill DeShivs" section of this forum to inquire about a more permanent fix. Good luck, the Piccolo is a really nice piece.

Hello and welcome Josh,
I’m sorry to hear the safety isn’t working as it should. It’s so disappointing to receive a brand new knife and not have it functioning as it should. I suggest getting in touch with the seller. Did you buy it from AGA? They stand behind their products and should be able to help you out. Perhaps you can have the knife repaired by Bill and The seller could cover the expenses. Or perhaps you could return it for a new one. In any event it wouldn’t hurt to email the sell.
Please let us know how you make out.
