Favorite War Movie

Post by BennytheBlade »

Stealing the idea from the western thread, I though maybe we could do the same but w/ war movies.

Modern and Classic since this is a broad category put 2 for each if ya want

Classic- The Big Red One, Patton. Man there are so many more.

Modern- Saving Private Ryan- The first 20 minutes make it an instant classic imho. We Were Soldiers. Sam Elliot does a great job.

Aces High, The Blue Max, Hell's Angels, Dawn Patrol, Sgt. York, Kelly's Heroes, All Quiet on the Western Front, Stalingrad, Saving Pvt. Ryan, Enemy at the Gate, Starship Troopers (hey, that was a war too, wasn't it?), Schindler's List, The Thin Red Line, and The Sands of Iwo Jima.
