I happen to like cats and dogs and find shit like that more offensive then if you wanted to show true canabilism. Humans suck by their own choosing animals go about their business till some young Manson finds one and decides to have fun. I don't find it funny or amusing cause their are plenty of sick assholes who get there jollys out of torturing small animals.
People like Gacy,Bundy, Dahmer all engaged in it and look where it led.
Theres funny and tasteless then theirs just tasteless and I don't understand what you would find funny about that or that the members here would find amusing. You want to post links to things I have no objections just think about what your posting before you hit the submit button.

I missed the orignal post or link, but yeah what PB said if it had to do with harassing or harming cats. I'll let this one pass.

This may be the "off topic" thread, but some things are way too "off topic"

Your displeasure is noted. As a matter of fact, I saw your response from yesterday, where you took offense at another user who made a reference in jest about using agressive techniques in dealing with neighborhood cats and dogs on his car and/or property.

So that other members are aware of what you deleted from my post, it was a link to an external site (not mine) where someone had authored and posted a recipe for preparation of cat.

We don't differ one bit in love of animals. Apparently humor is another issue. So that this isn't a recurring offense, are shots at PETA forbidden when posted in an off-topic area such as this one was?

Not at all shots at the dems and rep parties are even more welecome cause that group would look good hung on a revolving spit at a barbaque. I know that wasn't your web site and that it was just a link. I find it disturbing that people prey on those that can't defend themselves. As far as people go especially the anti self defense crowd please by all means link away.

my neighbor was catching cats and starving them then turning them into the pound. well after my cat came stumbling back, incredibly skinny and covered in motor oil. and my other neighbor's cat came back so dehydrated that it almost died, I caught on. and I went to their house in the middle of the night and took the trap. I also wrote them a note on their sliding glass door with a sharpie expressing my displeasure. no more problems after that. I feel bad that it had to come to that, but the morral of the story is... DON'T FUCK WITH MY CATS!!!!!!!! and I know for a fact that others will agree with me on this.

Kid you Brits and for that matter Irish sure have the knee market cornered. Is kissing the curb still a popular game over their? Is it any wonder that they took your guns being the heathens that you are  I have two small dogs that I love dearly. Once while walking them over the park on their leashes thay are always on leashes. A rottweiller came running over whose head was bigger then Gus's body he's my smallest. To make a long story short the dog was playing and the 2 guys that had him were egging him on.I simply walked away back home since the park is almost behind my house put my dogs inside the house and grabbed my daughters field hockey stick (I love that stick) and went back over to the park. When I got close enough I could see these were kids 17-18 or so. I asked them if they wanted to sic there dog on me and they could join also. After I gave the closest one to me a good shove and said the invitation still stands they walked away with their dog.My Point being I was never mad at the dog the dog only learns what you teach it,it's the owners of these dogs that I have a real problem with for doing that to a dog.

Great looking beagle there, Claudester! I've got a big ol' beagle too. They're just not like other dogs. My wife spoils ours rotten, but that's her job, I guess. Love them damn beagles...

I'll be the most neutral one here! IF the recipe was done in a humorous manner and included none existant or impossible ingredients or techniques
so it was CLEARLY humor I MIGHT tolerate it. If it was something that a sicko might actually try, it does NOT belong here. You should by now be able to "read" the attitudes and feelings here and try not to offend them.
What some might find funny and others find tasteless is never a clearcut line but if the majority swing one way it's time to use more thought before posting. The majority here [myself included] have VERY strong feelings about animals. Humor such as "Cat the other White Meat" is one thing [and about the limit] but a recipe is something else [and over the limit for the majority]. I might tolerate it under the conditions I outlined, most of the others clearly won't under any condition. Try to have a better sense of what goes and what doesn't. Defending the defenseless is one thing defending the indefensable is another. This is not like a jury where ONE person can save your ass forever, here he can be outvoted, use some common sense BEFORE you post PLEASE.

even though i didn't see the "humor" in question, i agree that some topics here are tabboo
because they are utterly tasteless even for the likes of omega - what's next kiddie porn?!
