North/South

Do you want to talk about your beautiful country, family, or dog? Would you like to say where you went on holiday or how you arranged the garden? Are you willing to tell us you girlfriend left you for a(nother) loser? Do you have ANY non knife-related topic you want to discuss? This is the place!

I don't know if it's still the case or not but at one time the south would have done that in a heart beat, I spent 30 days TDY on the DMZ back in 67, one of the main reasons the US stays involved is to keep the south from jumping on the north, they hate commies :!:

My daughter has been living in Seoul for a month and will be there for a full year. Never mind that she is technically an adult, she is and always will be my baby girl, and it is my job to worry about her. Tequiza is right, South Korea not only hates commies, according to my daughter they love America. As examples, all of the rooms in her school are named after American Universities and often when she and her American friends go out for dinner they are welcomed as Americans and given free food and drinks. I have compassion for the everyday citizens of North Korea who continue to suffer from the opression of communism. It is my hope and prayer that somehow, some way, communism in North Korea goes the way it did in Eastern Europe.

South Korea's hatred of commies is one of the most dependable and consistant factors on planet earth

Mr. Jim D,

A buddy of mine fought with the South Koreans in Vietnam. A severed penis on their helmet was a sign of a confirmed kill. He also witnessed the penalty of what happened to a SK Marine when he fell asleep on watch. The north cannot defeat the south unless they get their nukes, or help from China. I would say your baby is in good hands. I have a niece in Japan right now teaching English.

Best regards,

Bonz

Mr Bonzo,
Ask your friend if the ones he fought with were the Whitehorse or the Tiger Div, I ran into a few of them when I was in Korea and when they talked about killing commies it was with a big smile and a great sense of pride :!:
