These are the new ones that where just released, that have the ring pull instead of the other style of release, very nice I like them w/the ring pull

Those are very nice! Would you be so kind as to humor my ignorance and explain how the ring pull works? I've never seen one up close.

The ring is used to pull up the back spring so you can close the knife.
The hump that the ring goes through is part of the back spring.
