Well, I haven't posted here for about a year but here are a few recent LCR customs picklocks, two 13's and an 11. Hope you enjoy. Some of you have seen already seen posted on TSF. Sorry for the redundency.

Hi Lee,

That's some really great looking work. Outstanding. Would you be willing to elaborate on the examples you've shown here? I can guess a few things about materials, etc., but would be interested as hell to read whatever you could add by way of description of the individual knives; any details at all.

All but the first picklock are detailed in the other thread where they appear as well. This first piece has exceptional Damascus blade steel by Mastersmith Ed Caffrey. The pattern is very hard to see in the photos but it's quite nice and etched well with a nice vintage patina feel to it. Also, an exceptional blade grind on this knife. Most of my knives are hollow ground with an 8" wheel. This celluloid tortoise 13" picklock sports Devin Thomas ladder pattern bolsters, and comes with ss liners and ss torx screws. My personal favorites are the 13's.
