Thanks for the info! :)

Yep, I meet this Mr. Kujanpää every now and then at marketplaces here in Tampere. I don't think he makes the blades all by himself / by hand, they are that inexpensive. Mrs. Kujanpää makes the sheaths.

Here's one example, small Kujanpää (I posted this picture earlier "to another forum". Once again forgive me the grainy/fuzzy picture):

That looks like a very handy little thing.

The sheath referr to sami style if im right.... The norwegian samis use that type of sheath at least, and its very, very strong....

Would you recommend stabbing an assailant with the nogginator knife, or would it be better to just conk him onna noggin with it?
not sure if i follow that question........ ?
It has some interesting English slang in it
Conk - Hit [usually in a straight down manner, like a hammer]
Noggin - Head
onna - on the
I doubt it would be funny once translated :? But I will attempt to translate it into English without the slang;
If you were attacked would it be better to hit the attacker on the head with the Nogginator or stab him with it ?

Johan,
you speek about "sami style" knife (or puukko).

I - as I said when BennytheBlade showed that picture first time - begin to think about "leuku".

Same thing, I suppose...

Here in Norway we dont use the word "puukko", nor do we use "leuku".
heh heh heh....

At least i can tell you the difference between the style i make and the "sami" style.

The style i make is a much smaller(usually) than the sami style.

The sami style is usually quite big, and with a different type of sheath(a little anyway)

The sami style usually have a straight handle with a swell at the end, and sometimes end caps and bolsters of brass etc...

Sorry if i have missunderstanded any words or anything...

Ask any questions, i will be more than happy to answer them :)

Yep, I think your knives are nice :)
No, I don't think there's any misunderstanding. We speak about same things just using a little bit different words :)
