Mr. Benny,

You're a natural artist... lovely pics... and that Damascus is BEAUTIFUL... any chance you could post a pic of both sides of that one.. ?? I'd like to see how the pattern runs through the blade...

Best wishes

thanks Teddy- coming from you, thats a big compliment :D
Ill try to get a pic of both sides- I really like the swedish damasteel- the hekka pelita (sp?) is a pattern Im going to get on a knife next.

Mr. Jimd- Yeah, I photochopped em a bit, but those xing wens polish up nice.

mr. bigg- Yeah, hes about the only custom maker I keep going back too.
Bartone/thebrightedge.com is buds w/ him so if he wants a sale and I want something specific on a knife, we all get what we want.
Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes.

Benny
Gorgeous examples of Brads work. I always figured he along with some others would rise to their own niche. Funny world knives I'm not bragging but I have a pretty high sucsess rate of picking guys that will make it. I'll tell you a story between you and me. When Tom Anderson first started making knives I sat on a fence the more he made the more I liked. I thought his knives were very sparton but ultra clean looking. The poor guy paid his dues and landed a contract for a co to produce his knives. He was happy as hell cause he heard that the co was really good and he could design and get his name out there. I figured I would get one since I always seem short of cash .Well in a nut shell I'm cruisin BA and I see Tom Anderson knife so I click and lo and behold I forget which model but there it was bigger then life. The price was $5.95.So I emailed him and asked WTF it seems he being niave hooked up and signed a contract with Fury. Man was he upset they took him for a ride about 12 times around the block.I think the contract is over now and I hope he gets back together and reads the fine print. On the other hand Fred Carter has been with Fury for years who knows.

Nice Blades, Benny. You're an art collector.

Would you please elaborate on the one with the blue bolsters and liners? I've heard the name Xing Wen mentioned, thought it must be an inside joke or something.
