My latest Walt’s

Post by WheelingWV »

Here are some of my latest Walt’s Latamas. Sorry about the poor quality of the pictures. I’m working on improving my photo taking skills. There’s also a “Whiskers“ Allen (circa 1989) and a couple of Buck autos in one of the cases. Thanks for looking.

Mistakes are like knives. They can help us or they can hurt us. It all depends on whether we grab ‘em by the handle or by the blade.

Thank you, Thom. Appreciate your kind words.

Yes, Whippersnapper, the Whiskers’ is a lefty.

I’m ambidextrous. 😁

Whippersnapper, here’s a better picture of my Whiskers. (Bought it from Walt and this was the picture from his site.) It’s a beauty.

Wow ! Very nice assortment, that's a whole Lotta abalone man . How do you like the factory Bucks ? I have been hesitant to get one for 2 reasons one being coil fired and another is that they are not dual action, i have a few conversations so I guess I'm partial to them . Thanks for sharing

Thank you, Sprink, for your kind words. Yep, as you noticed, I’m partial to abalones. I’ve had my old Buck 110 for twenty+ years, and I have to say that I’m impressed with the factory autos (no experience with conversions). The smaller 112 auto is also impressive. Best wishes, Sir.

Outstanding group - thanks for sharing. I especially like the light horn and what appears to be white bone.

Really nice collection of Walt's! They all look very recent. Walt didn't start adding Latama to the tang until 2018 (I believe). I like them all!

JV, if you look at my steel lined Walt’s it has Latama stamp. It is a 2015. I never really paid attention, maybe because the steel liners VS brass liners from 2015
