My newly acquired 11 inch Brazilian Horn Latamas

Post by barshoo »

Around July 20th, 2020, I received from PicklocksRock 2 beautiful 11" Brazilian Horn Latamas. They are the first Latamas that I have ever owned. I have not shown them to you before now, because I have been sick with Covid-19. It has been almost 3 weeks, and I am still recovering. But anyway, I took some pictures that I wanted to share with you.

One is a Damascus, dagger blade, and the other is a swedge blade. Both are beauties, and I would like to thank PicklocksRock again for selling me these fine knives!!! I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Both beauties! I think what you're referring to as a swedge blade, Walt calls a half-grind (I think). Get well soon!

Thank you T !! The pisser of it is that I did not leave my apartment for 2 months, and I still managed to get it!! My husband got sick first. 2 weeks later I got sick. My doctor sent me to be tested, and he called me 3 hours later to let me know that I was "positive". My husband picked it up on one of his trips to the grocery store. He had been so careful, too! I'd say that my case was moderate...it was like having a case of the flu. My cough is almost gone. In another week, I should be 100%.
