Vendetta corsa
Here is a knife made by Jeremy Kreis. Brass liners, button, pins and bail. Using masecraft alternative ivory. Tremendous job.

Dear Thom: Yes Jeremy does great work. Custom knives, repairs ,alterations. I just had to show this knife on Talkblade. Looks even better in person. Incidentally is he making a vendetta for you also or another kind. There isn't much he will not attempt. Thanks for your post. Rob.

Re: Vendetta corsa
After I got used to making these through the pivot button knives, I really started to appreciate them. The only thing is that if you need to adjust the pivot, you have to take every piece of it apart: take the backspring out, remove the scales, take off the bolsters (four pins in each), then take the button spring off and pull the button out. Then you can tighten the pivot. Then put it all back together, sand & polish the bolster pins and hope you don't need to do all that stuff again.
That is why this one has that pin to the lower right of the pivot. It goes all the way through the handle and out the back bolster. That way there is something else to tighten the top (without all that trouble) so it doesn't get that rattling blade play that almost all vintage American knives have.
