BÖKER

Post by JulesVane »

As I test the waters of German leverlock collecting (a short test), I've acquired these 3 BÖKER pieces. The two 712R's are apparently red dyed bone and black Delrin (a form of plastic?), and the 715R is stag. I "think" 712's came before 715's(?), but I'm not sure if the "R" models came before or after those without the "R". I do not know the ages of these knives...

Nice knives. You have a remarkably diverse collection. If anything happens to you please be sure your wife has a way to contact me. Lol

Great knives all. Find the blade markings interesting. I believe Alemania is Spanish for Germany.

I no longer own the one on the bottom which had been sharpened and if I had known back then that autos would become legal for carry in my state, I would have kept it.

The 712R did come before the 715R marking. You will find 712R’s in stag. They must have given the stag scales version its own model number at some point.
No, I'm not happy to see you, that's my 12cm "Red Rose" in my pocket!

There is nothing like a great Solingen made knife.
