9” Japanese Rizutto Estileto Milano estimated date range 1962-78

Post by picklocksrock »

This is my first Rizzy! It just arrived to me this evening, and I must say, it’s everything I hoped it would be and more. Smooth yet strong deployment with a very satisfying sound when deployed.

It also seems a little bit heavier than some of the later models I’ve held before. I’m extremely glad to have had the opportunity to acquire this switchblade.

Very nice Rizutto! I had several of these when I was a teenager, got them across the border in Mexico. Had both black and white handle versions. They were fun for awhile then always got blade peek and then the spring cracked. You have a very nice "survivor" there.

Thank you 🙏

I opened it just a couple times since I got it. But I’m definitely keeping that to a bare minimum.

That's a beautiful 9" rizzuto! Just the way I like them. The guards give it away as being a heavier model. No doubt, a nicer steel rocker on that one. The guards got dainty and shorter on the lighter, cast pot metal rocker models.
