Antonio Contini

Post by thom »

I took the plunge. I have been curious about these knives. Found this one. It is a beast. If it weren't so big it could be a EDC. Built like a tank. Super solid and tight. It is 30 cm, almost 12". Very nice Brazilian Horn. Sharp as a razor. Really beefy flat bolsters. If I were a silent assassin, this would be the perfect weapon. Pictured next to an 11" Latama for size comparison.

Well done thom 8)
One of my grail switchblades .

I have drooled over those knives for years now, just been scared of it not getting here at the price they are.

They are beautifully made and with the fine collection you have and are building ,you just had to get one of these beasts.

Great knife mate....Hipe things are well for you.

I too really like these knives, they are very nice looking and collectible. Maybe one day I’ll also take that plunge. Super nice presentation by the way. Very nice switchblade!

Those are really impressive but they don't come on the cheap.

Glad to hear that, thinking those run around $1700 new, could be wrong though.

Sammy, I think they are a lot cheaper than that. Check the website. There are some around $750 new. I think that's about what mine was new.

Thom, did you acquire this beauty from a seller in the US ?
Speaking for myself I would think it a bit risky to have one shipped from Europe; or are my concerns about that groundless ?

I did buy it from someone in US. I don't think it would be a problem with shipping. Never had a problem with 3knives shipping.
