RARE 1968 2nd YEAR OF PRODUCTION FOR THE Gerber MK.2 FIGHTING KNIFE "Cats Tongue"
RARE 1968 2nd YEAR OF PRODUCTION FOR THE Gerber Special Forces Private Purchase MK.2 FIGHTING KNIFE. "Cat's Tongue" handle. The name came from spraying molten aluminum onto the handle for better grip when wet or blood soaked in combat. It was made for only two years as the roughness was too harsh.

CORRECTION! It should read Mark 2, not Mark 1!
