New 11" AGA Wasp

Post by thom »

After a 18 day wait, finally got it. And worth the wait. Really happy with the knife, especially the horn. The back is exceptional.

The AGA Wasp's are my favorite. I own a few from a few years ago.

It's a beauty Thom! I played it safe this go around...Ebony Wood. As you're well aware, Brazilian Horn is like that proverbial "box of chocolates"...lol

Nice one, Thom! The rear scale reminds me of the horn on an old Rosco picklock on mine, but yours has more going on. That layered translucent quality you sometimes see in Brazilian horn reminds me of antique tortoise shell.

Capt. Willard,
Please post pics and let us know what you think. Both 11" and 13" Wasp's are my favorites.

I just got mine and I’m a little disappointed. I’m new to Italians but the blade is not even close to center. The black ink that they marked it with is missing letters. It fires okay. I don’t think that I’m too impressed.

If you click on the imagur link you will see other photos of the knife. It’s like the blade doesn’t open all the way. You will see
