Jeremy has done several mangles for me in the past year or so and all of his work has been first class.
Our first collaboration was a matched set of dagger blade stilettos that he created when I sent him 4 dagger blade knives all with different scale materials and he produced black acrylic scales for all of them.
Image

Our second go around was when he converted a Falcon manual to an automatic. The button is topped with the medallion from the original manual, he remade the swing guards and the scales were redone with some acrylic I sent him.
Image

The third was a $40 kriss blade no name beater that I cleaned up and sent him for some new scales made from some stabilized Buckeye burl I had. This is one of my favorites.

Jerry, your double switch creation is awesome.
What were the donator knives that you used?
Did you post photos of this on another thread? Do you have any production photos to share? I'd love to see them.

Hi Brett,
I'm not trying to hijack your thread. I want to share some photos of a different style double switchblade.

I'd like to share a few photos of my double switch made by Renzo Pascotto in 2013 Made In Maniago, Italy Designed by Master Craftsmen Lucio DiBon and Executed by Renzo Pascotto 2013 Double SwitchBlade N.10/15
Overall Length 36cm
OAL Bayonet Blade 25cm
OAL Swedge Blade 24.5cm
Pick Lock: Bayonet Blade Button Side
Lockback: Swedge Blade Shield Side
Scaled in: Old Indian Sambar Stag 13.5cm
Solid (not hollow) Nickel Silver Hardware: Bolsters, Button, Oval Shield, and Safety
Stainless Steel Blades:
Button Side Mirror Polished Bayonet Blade 11.5cm, Tang Lasered with Renzo Pascotto's Logo, Backside Lasered 10/15
Oval Shield Side: Mirror Polished Swedge Blade 11cm Lasered with 2013
Brass Liners Both are "D" Stamped and Numbered 10 with Fully Lined Brass Guards and Pins
Fires Hard and Fast Solid Lock Up
Lucio DiBon has said that this style knife has never been made before it is truly a work of art. A Masterpiece of Engineering by Lucio DiBon made by hand the old school way by Master Craftsman Renzo Pascotto.
It's probably more info than you all wanted to read but I thought I would share the info.

Hey John,

Here's the RP double from a couple of years ago. I know that Steven Randazzo had one, Hooker Blades was selling one, and I am pretty sure that you had one. As far as I can tell, the only difference between this one and your current one is the shape of the fire buttons.

Image

Can you clarify about you stag handled knife being a never before built style?

Image

Thanks, friend.

By the way, here's the Chinese Dual Speed that is a rip off of Mikov built as a double.

Image

And here's that crazy one George Cameron built for me.

Image

And here's the one Chad builds for Roadside. The extra brass keeps the point from peeking on the narrower style top bolster.

Image

Of course, there are lots of vintage American doubles.
