Hi Bill,
Yes :!: I just wrote that in reply to Fastr19 comment on SD.
"The little ones pictured here are made like the vintage knives. "D" stamped liners, slip in kicker, the safety is of the vertical tpye not like the modern flat safeties. If I didn't know better I'd say these were new old stock from the 50's."
These little ones are awesome.
Thank you, Bill, for taking a look and your right on observation

Brother John!!!
Howdy partner!
Looks like you're still raking in some of the sexiest and coolest autos out there. I eye-molested that lil blondie there a few years ago when Bob over at SD had it. And as I've said before, unless you're taking these gals 6ft down with ya when you leave, we aint nothing but foster-owners. These pieces outlived their creator, and they'll outlive the lot of us. Not to sound so cryptic...
Awesome sharing, here, my friend.
have a goodern!

I have not seen Oreste Dibon knives with this tang stamp, only "Rostfrie". Someone enlighten me, please.

Mike, John and whippersnapper, they are both really nice, I am not a big fan of the smaller knives, but I would love to add one of those to my collection.

You know what? I'm not entirely sure it isn't. When I got it several years ago it was the same time the new Marios were coming out and was either told by seller (or I assumed) it was the repro. He was a new collector who didn't stick around the forums long. It was basically a throw in for part of a trade.

I will be honest. I never really looked at it too closely until yesterday. When I got it, I checked to see if it worked and tossed it in my chest. It wasn't until this thread that I remembered it and took a close picture and can see the age and opening marks on the blade and bolster.

Maybe I lucked out and got a vintage knife? I'm not an expert enough to know for sure.

These are all really beautiful mini picklocks that I also, like Thom, hope to add one day.

Appears to be in very good shape. Do you have an idea about how long you have had it? I still have the Moletto I got from you a few years back and the little stiletto you sent with it.
