Your KC 45 was made by Falcon Cutlery in Maniago, Italy for Robert Klaas.
Someone bent the backspring badly-probably from slinging it open.

Good read hi JLL
I’m in England and that’s a nightmare collecting them I don’t tell anyone I have them because they look at you really strange ha ha
I agree with Jeremy who are the government to tell me what I can collect as a responsible person, and also true the harder they are to get makes it sweeter when they arrive.
I like the older 50s ones but there’s so much on here
You’ll be here forever reading and just keep finding interesting stuff.
Jeremy is great he’s so helpful and can guide you in the right direction.

It’s very bent, blade won’t seat while closed at all. It’s probably about a half inch or better gap.Bill DeShivs wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 7:41 am Your KC 45 was made by Falcon Cutlery in Maniago, Italy for Robert Klaas.

Do you know how I can tell the age or value?

It's older, because of the M.Italy stamp- probably late 1960s.
I can probably repair the backspring/locktab.
