I made an edit to this thread in order to correct the information about the tang stamp. To me it looked like Parema Cento, but it actually is Renzo Pascotto's signature. It reads "Pascotto Renzo".

No offense, but we shouldn't foster the idea that what you see is "Parema Centro". It reads, in fact, "Pascotto Renzo".

Hi Dave,
I recently emailed DiBon and asked exactly what was the second word on the tang. I got a reply last week. The tang does infact read Pascotto Renzo. The stamp is Renzo handwriting and it is his name. His last name looked like "Parema" to me and it actually is "Pascotto". The second word that looks like it begins with a "C" is an "R" which is his first name "Renzo".
I have been meaning to update my thread with the correct information.
I make LOTS of MISTAKES. I appreciate being corrected. Please feel free to correct my mistakes.
Thank you, Dave, for your comment and no offense is taken,
John

Ciao Andrea,
I need to tell you and everyone I mis-read the tang stamp. It reads "Pascotto Renzo". In my defense it really does look like Parema Cento to me, but it is 100% wrong.
Mille Grazie, Andrea, for taking a look at my knife and for your comment,
John

PS
I recently visited your website and it's awesome. Congratulation on your easy to use website and on your new career of knifemaker. Italy and the world needs more entrepreneurs like yourself. Your knives are beautiful. I'm very happy to see mirror polished blades, solid bolster made with nickel silver or stainless steel and beautiful scale materials. I haven't added one to my collection, but I plan to do so soon. I'm waiting for an 11 inch/28cm knife.
Congratulation! I wish your new business venture is successful and will be with us for many many years to come with more styles and sizes.
Your friend,
John

Hey John

Didn't recognize you without your '6553'. Look up 'mistake' in the dictionary, you'll find my picture there!

 John, yet ANOTHER stunner! Aside from: 8) 8) 8) love it, want one! I dunno what say.
Are the scales waxed, or otherwise finished? They've an almost plastic quality about them.

Hi Dave,
They must have been polished with some kind of wax. The photos do give it a plastic kind of look, but in real life not. Most likely neutral shoe polish; it works great. Don't bother buying Resistance wax it's the same stuff.
Thank you, Dave, for checking my knife out and your comment,
John

Brother John,
Howdy and how goes it?!? Excellent masterpiece sir. You ought to be crowned King of the modern Italians :!:
I'd be willing to bet some dough that this cat showed this knife to Angelo who said, "yup, time to make some 10" picklocks!"
Fank's 9" 5mm'ers are swank, but the Campolin's 10" 5mm'ers are just perfect in the hand! IF Im not mistaken, Mr. Pascotto built Angelo's 10" 5mm'ers also.
Beautiful piece, my brother! Thank for sharing. Still waiting of some vids of John's most awesome collection, sir
all the best,
