First knife of 2009 - A Ti folder

Post by Ruben Calo »

I hope you guys had a great New Year's Eve and a good 2009 start :)

This is my first knife for the year, I've wanted to make another no scales Ti folder for a while., so I've made this for myself, we'll see how that goes LOL

3 3/4" hand rubbed stainless N678 blade. 3/16" thickness. Overall length 8 3/4"
Worked and heated Titanium scales. Stainless steel liner. Ball bearing pivoting system. Hand made stainless steel clip.

Thanks guys :D

When I showed the folder to my webmaster, he gave me a plain Ti ring he had to see if I could do something similar to the folder scales, so here's what I came up with, I'm sure some of you will like it :)

I'll get better pics when he gets it and take good macro shots of it.

Thanks again!

Ruben,

Again, that's one helluva knife, and the ring matches its personality. You've got some great mojo going there!

Simply a small ball bearing :). The ball bearing is in the scale or in the blade? :)
