Cheap and reasonable quality.
Fast and tight ....what more do you want?
It would appear that a little less "banana blade" would be nice to have.

It's just the pic ,the blade is fine.
Mine is stamped STAINLESS on one side and on the other UD96A000103 PATENT.

Glad to hear you like your new knife Straydog, do you mean the bolster is hard to flip to open? If so, I had the same problem with one of mine.
To fix it I filed down the locking pin that holds the blade closed just a little bit - this way you dont have to move the bolster so far before the backspring lock clears the blade, If this is your problem too, go easy with a small fine file - just a little at a time and keep trying it.
You could always click it a 1000 times and see if this eases it up
Whats next?

Jagman,
Yes , that's the problem, I'll be very gentle with the file ! I'm sure that'll do the trick ! As far as clickin' it 1000 times....... I don't think so, I've already got a dent in my forefinger, and it hurts like "hell"

You asked "Whats next ?" do you mean , questions about "bolster release knives" ?....... none , if you mean "what's the next knife" ? Well , It'll be either a 13" white pearl stiletto or 11" honey horn swinguard ! I'll have to be sneaky tho , this time  the "little woman " is gettin' "concerned "

I was referring to whats next as far as new knives, keep the lady happy - have the knives delivered somewhere else  I have mine shipped to work now - much less hassle.

How many patent ones were made? Any historical details you can add?
