In my opinion commemoratives have little value, especially when they have been modified. I just ran across this Ek commemorative. On the back side it has a reserve officer's name and rank engraved. In my mind this is not work the price of a current Ek from Kabar. What says you guys?

Re: Commemoratives?
Maybe, if I knew/worked with/liked and respected the person whose name was on the blade.
Otherwise, it’s kinda like getting a tattoo of the name of somebody else’s girlfriend.

Re: Commemoratives?
The only commemorative knife I’ve bought was a Newt Livesay 1999 SOF commemorative “Woo”, a paracord wrapped tanto neck knife.
