Assembly Republicans in Wisconsin are looking to fast track another bill. This one to make switchblades, concealed or otherwise, legal in Wisconsin. Are they kidding? Switchblades?

The proposed bill would make switchblades, and knives of any length, legal in Wisconsin, including on college campuses. Local governments would be barred from enacting knife regulations that are stricter than the state law.

Have these ignoramuses not heard of the killings that have happened on college campuses around the nation? Five multiple killings on college campuses throughout the nation in October alone.

The author of this bill, Rep. Kathy Bernier, R-Chippewa Falls, was quoted as saying that, “Knives are merely tools.” Is this woman still living in the stone age? That’s when knives were merely tools.

I have a query for Rep. Bernier. Have your constituents been inundating your office to introduce a bill to legalize switchblades? Exactly what kind of person is it who needs a switchblade?

There is too much violence and killing in America. Why would any person even think of introducing such a bill? How can someone with the power to pass laws come up with such an asinine idea to hand deranged people yet another legalized weapon to conceal and kill with?

Until we can weed out the "antis" cities/states across the USA will continue to have useless laws.
However when faced with facts their minds still don't accept or comprehend,to go against the grain is in their DNA.

The way I see it a switchblade sounds a "warning" whereas a fixed blade is silent
