The Adventures Of Jim Bowie

Post by Viking45 »

Found this when I was looking for old Westerns. At first I thought it was going to be tired and silly but it is actually very entertaining. Everyone has different tastes but I really enjoyed this.
This is Season 1/Episode 1 September 1956 The Birth of The Blade (1956) 25 mins

Screen shot where Jim carved out his design in wood and explains to the Blacksmith what he wants.

Mr. V,

That was a delight to watch. The announcer claimed it is a true story about the birth of one of the mos' famous knives in history. Thank you for posting it...

Greetings, Mr. Viking 45-

Another good one is-"The Iron Mistress" starring Alan Ladd. A sliver of a falling star blacksmithed into Bowie's blade..

AS ever,

Your ol' pal,
