If the forum knife truns out to be a kriss, it would be the only one that I own. Still, it might be interesting as a "special".

I'l be honest, I'm not super keen on kris blades either. Or serrated blades for that matter. Just my opinion of course.

Ya know, it would be such an honor to have a forum knife that I could live with the crooked blade, and likely come to appreciate it. I have only seen pretty cheaply made kris(s?) bladed knives so perhaps a well made one would grow on me.
ratz...
p.s. Sorry for not contributing to a furor over the kris blade--I know some are just awaitin' for the fur to fly.

I think in all fairness I should point out that I have never seen a real kris blade (only pictures) so I guess I cant really make any comment on it. Let the majority decide.

Actually, it's all about thrust, puncture, eviscerate upon withrawal. Repeat as necessary. Add salt for maximum discomfort.

Mr. mrbigg,

Please, tell us what the basic design, construction, and purpose of the dagger, kris, and bayonet blades on these Italian stiletto's are based upon, and please don't tell me it has something to do with pig farming.

all right me bonzo - there's no need to explain what they were designed for, just like there's no need for me to explain that i was joking around :D

We had the IHT Stiletto, AKC will be making the Leveretto, it's time for a Leverlock. If people HAVE to have another stiletto lets make it a special heavy-duty one that could be used as a work knife, [make it as strong as a leverlock at least].

Mr. mrbigg,

I know you were joking, but since you mentioned it, I thought you could educate some of the newer members here about the real purpose of the Italian stiletto.
