beware of BRITISHBLADES.COM forum.
today i was banned from this SHIT forum.
the reason,
some moron on there, a knife collector openly boasted about how he had reported an ebayer cos he advertised a BOKER and a BALISONG.
i wrote underneath his post that such behaviour made me sick to my stomach.
think i best keep my knife interest to myself,i suggest the rest of you do the same, discussing it only arouses the interest of bastards..

Don't think you lost much being banned from that group. I lived in London for three years in the late 1950's. What I see going on over there has convinced my that people have really lost their way and are being PC'ed to death, literally. It is very sad.
Not that we over here are not headed in the same direction....

Mr. warren2009,
I would consider it a distinct "honour" to be banned by that group of narrow-minded, PC, Wankers!

Re: beware of BRITISHBLADES.COM forum.
see for yourself if you search "balisong"
the topic was.
"some LUNATIC is selling a balisong on ebay!"
the reply that made me sick was some jerk (a moderator aswell!) wrote.
"ive done him a favour and reported him to ebay, its morons like this that give knives a bad name!"
Im sorry but the very idea of a knife-collector turning snitch to ebay is a full on bastard trick. It was proberbly down to a BB member that the WATCHDOG propagana programme was made, because ofcourse the researchers would of had to ask enthusiasts about knives/ebay etc..and what better place than BB.
if any BB members are on here and are in agreement with the snitch,PM me for my honest opinion so i dont have to write it here.

Re: beware of BRITISHBLADES.COM forum.
yeah thats the thing i couldnt understand.if your a knife collector, surely you shouldnt restrict yourself to collecting gift shop lock knives just so you can be PC.
so im to as sume all these members collections all conform the the primitive uk standards allowed (even though we are in the E.U).Must be great to admire your penknife collection (no blade over 3 inches you law breaking swines!!)and then turn your nose up at the irrisponsible, law breaking,LUNATIC collectors who just happen to like other models.
Look, bali's were available here up until i dunno, 20 year ago,at least i could get em when i was a kid, cant remember the year they banned em,and i never understood it either.
as for autos, i remember seeing a poster of WEBLEY knives that pictured at least a dozen different designs, so autos were even manufactured here so whats the big deal?
we are either in the E.U or not.
The laws on for example porn were relaxed only a few years ago,no more black dots over the oh so offensive private parts, and full sex scenes were no longer seen as offensive.. yet did this suddenly make everyone go out and buy huge stashes of porn?.... err i dont think so.
My point, you restrict something, it creates a market for it, subconciously you want it more.i could for example of bought 100 different balis years back...but why should i when they are so readily available?
In Sweden for example where i lived for several years, you could buy whatever porn you wanted, but nobody is rushing out hording it.However, they have strict alchohol laws, you cant buy vodka or even beer over 3.5 % in regular shops, you have to go to a licenced alchohol store (systembolaget) if you want anything over 3.5%. This is the reason why so many people there make home-brew, cos of the restriction... if the laws were relaxed i doubt people would suddenly rush out and stock up their cupboards with extra strength vodka and turn into raving alchoholics.
and its the same with blades, well for me it is. i wouldnt suddenly go out and buy every auto i could find if they suddenly made them readily available.
not so sure where im going with this rambling post, but we are all responsible adults,i dont need some tosser telling me i shouldnt like certain designs just cos its not YET allowed.
the moron tried to compare knives to firearms.(as in collecting blank firers, but owning a few live guns was the same as having a few switches in your knife collection)
with mentality like that.... there is just no point in discussing it further.

I do to.
".....i dont need some tosser telling me i shouldnt like certain designs just cos its not YET allowed." Love the way you guys talk, especially the insults. (What's a tosser?)
I can't figure why society has lost so much character in the last few decades; maybe it never had much to begin with. The last thing we need is for still more vitality to be sapped by those who'd prefer totalitarian order to freedom. I feel that, as always, we must be more politically active to preserve our rights.
Bunch of bloody tosser flaming wanker...leeks!

The "loyal opposition" has ruled the state for decades and decades
Martial law, because someone catches the flu, would not be an unusual reaction there
Remember; If you don't have healthcare insurance [or CAN'T buy it], Mass. charges you $1000 a year FINE
You still have NO insurance but Mass is $1000 richer
That is EXACTLY the plan oslima and the commiecrats are considering for the whole U.S.
Re: beware of BRITISHBLADES.COM forum.
from what i understand, if obsama declares martial law over this flu thing the only one who can remove martial law is him. which means were in a dicktatership till.....

Re: beware of BRITISHBLADES.COM forum.
As an older man, perhaps this is one area where I can help.
The largest family of surnames in the world is not Smith, Chin or Jones. It's "Richard A. Cranium." You will never stomp them out, quit their breeding or dump enough chlorine in their gene pool to ever make a difference. Although tornadoes do try to erase their trailor parks at a fairly good pace.
Every bar, saloon, gentlemen's club or tavern I ever attended was full of drunken townies. The toughest fighters in the world are working cowboys. In that equation, every watering hole should be populated by cowboys and devoid of townies. Even saddle-tramps can't stamp them out!
It is my belief that that the reason the noble samurai died out was not the circumstance of technology, history, gunpowder or politics. I believe that the samurai decided that drunken idiots, townies and other buttocks' boils had to be expunged from the earth. In time, the samurai died of exhaustion. Even they couldn't kill them all.
So in my life I've decided to learn from history. I no longer pay much attention to idiots. I hang chrome, I look at pretty girls, I like to eat. As for the Craniums, any bozo with the same number of teeth as toes--eleven--is never going to be much of a threat in my life. Granted, one did become President, but his wife was the real danger...

An explanation that seems to fit the facts!
