I never have. Many stainless steels do not forge well or easily I believe this is one of them.

Hi Vagrant,
first of all let me tell you how impressed i'm for the quantity of your posts!
Last night i was reading your posts on italian stiletto.
Very interesting!

Stainless steel is always more difficult to forge than carbon steel and ATS34 is more diffucult than the average stainless steel.

Due Buoi did!!
They made a classic drop point.

Thank You Vito
ATS-34 usually reuires industrial equipment to forge. One man with a hammer, a forge, and an anvil will not have much success  I see that Due Buoi has a forged ATS-34 Hunter that looks very interesting but I bet it takes serious equipment to make it

you are right , Vagrant!
it takes industrial equipment to forge but Due Buoi is a high end quality manufacturer with semi-custom finishing.
