Buck 110's on sale again

Post by sonnyboy »

...pretty much all over...

First they were retailing for $59+...then $57+...Some online dealers have them for $37+...

Then K-Mart and Wal-Mart had them for $29+...Then Academy Sports had them for $23+...Now Wal-Mart has the sardine-can 110's for $23+...

So Academy dropped their price to $18.63...For a brass bolster, 420HC blade 110 with nylon sheath...

Here's a link to a [long] thread detailing the sales price drops, and participating stores...

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showt ... p?t=370747

I personally have bought 4 Buck 110's in the last month or so...two in the sardine cans for Xmas gifts; two for my own use...

Can't go wrong for those prices...
Six of one...
Half a dozen of the other...

Just saw a post to that thread above that WallyWorld is now clearancing some of the sardine-can 110's for $15...

Still time for Christmas!...A good present for that nephew/paperboy/boy scout-who-collects-your-old-cans...without worrying about stormtroopers raiding your house because you own SBs...

sonnyboy,

good price but it requires subjecting yourself to the indignities of a visit to one of their establishments, which is more than I can stomach...especially this time of year

Sure is tempting, but I'm with Mr. Jim D on this one...

Yes, I know...and that one Wal-Mart down South had the boys choir arrested because they were singing Christmas carols outside and wouldn't stop...(oops, Robin Meade says they weren't arrested; just escorted away)...

And they won't say "Merry Christmas" only "Happy Holidays"...

But come on, guys!!! Think of how much your little nephews' eyes will pop when he sees his very own "big boys" knife!!! Watch as he runs his thumb down the blade to test its sharpness!!!

I stopped in tonight, just to see what the price was down to here...it's still $23.44 for the sardine-can 110, but there's a lot less of them...
