French BARGEON Springer $85 SOLD

SOLD A nice Project for someone more handy than me. Checking sellers like Latham's this appears to be a BARGEON or MAKI INOX item. It was so full of pocket schmutz that the blade hardly moved. I was able to get it to fire to 2/3 but hangs up at this point, a touch to the blade and it completes opening. One post I read suggested steam but I'm to busy to mess any further. $85 shipped PP Gift

There is something wrong with the springs. The backspring should not stick out like that.

It’s a Begon. Their earlier stamp was “247” over “Inox” inside a chevron or something.
No, I'm not happy to see you, that's my 12cm "Red Rose" in my pocket!
