Some Interesting Knives for Sale
I need to thin the herd a bit, so am offering some interesting pieces for your consideration. All work perfectly and have great snap. Shipping is $8.50, but will consolidate multiple purchases. Post or PM with any questions or offers. As Monte was wont to say, "Let's Make a Deal!"
Left to right
A 13" AKC bought from Stu711 back in the day. A Classic Stiletto with Bayonet blade and unusual Olivewood scales and stainless bolsters. Marked with AKC logo along with "Made in Italy" and "Stainless Steel" below the mark.
$75
An oldie bought from the SKM website. A 13" Classic Stiletto with Flat Grind blade, stainless bolsters and stag scales. Has no maker's mark but was most likely made by Renzo Beltrame as he made all the 13"ers back then. It is marked "INOX" on the front with "ITALY" over "Stainless" on the back. They really wanted you to know it wouldn't rust.... SOLD!
$75
A 11" Flat Grind Classic Stiletto scaled in Palisander Wood with Brass bolsters and safety (stainless button, go figure). Marked "B" over "Rostfrei"in script. I understand this is an early Frank Beltrame piece with this marking. SOLD!
$65
A 9" Kris Classic Stiletto with stainless bolsters and dark horn scales with brown highlights. It is a very well built piece but has no markings of any kind. Likely not originally made for export. SOLD!
$55
The fifth one from the left has been SOLD!
A 9" Du Buoi Button O/C Bayonet in Stag. Marked "DUE BUOI ITALY" on the blade back, "Spring Knives 2007. 2 of 20" on the front of the blade. This is built like a tank. The body as well as the blade are forged formed. Lay this on a stack of paper, and 40 knots of breeze won't blow anything away.
$225 SOLD!

Re: Some Interesting Knives for Sale
I want the 'fifth one from the left' that has already been sold! That is a sweet one for sure.
Just wanted to say hi, David. Hope you are making out a-ok across the bay in these weird times.

Re: Some Interesting Knives for Sale
A couple of guys who expressed an active interest in buying the AKC and the Du Buoi have not responded to my PM's. So I guess they changed their minds. That's fine, things come up, people have a change of heart, etc.
It is common courtesy, however, to let the seller know your intentions and respond to PM's. Miss Manners would be shocked,,,,
Those two knives, the one of the far right and the one on the far left, are still available.
