Having a good truncheon means never having to say you're sorry-the offended party is unconcious or otherwise distracted.
Thanks to all those with kind words for my pitiful musings.
Now, somebody get a manufacturer interested in my improvement to this neglected weapon(I don't know any, and these days everybody assumes that you're a dizbang.)
Best design of all would involve buying the patent for the old Kiyoga(which is owned by a suspected neo-nazi who is said to have disappeared some years ago, oughta go cheap)
This involves a simple magnet in the base of the grip tube to hold the weapon closed until a flick of the wrist deploys it.
Simple idea, major improvement.
If the Kiyoga had had a steel button, it would have been the ultimate pocket club.
Good reach, looks evil(which is a good thing) plenty of smoke if needed, looks harmless enough when closed...what's not to like?
Next from the Lab...."Let's make a blackjack!"
(I can't find a big fishing sinker...can you believe it?)

DR. Profundus,...
I'd be happy to give you the name of a good Patent-attourney
if you seriously want to proceed with effective marketing of
yer Hella-Scullion 2100.
He's outta New-York city and probly has
access to hundreds of test-subjects and product-testers.
All in a nice controlled environment for proper data aquisition...
Hell,I bet you have a real chance of cornering the truncheon market.
Cheaper than a pistol, safer around kids too.

Mr. Vagrant,
You use those lovable Sea Monkeys as fish bait?
You're gonna hear from the PETA people!

Think SeaMonkeys are a rip?
Try the X-Ray Specs.
The Kiyoga was the best idea this very strange man ever had-and I'llm bet he made a load of money from it, too.
Seems a judge in Chicago ruled that the steel whip was legal for carry by anyone, and for a while, these things were everywhere(this was somewhere around 1983).
Spoilsports quickly put a stop to this frivolity, and the Kiyoga Agent M-5 seems to have faded from sight.
His patent covers the use of a magnet to hold the springs inside the grip, until a flick of the wrist deploys it-a significant improvement in design.
The device was very well made, and the grip was covered with the same finish that Gerber used to use on their aluminum handled knives.
The butt had a nice colisoinne medallion on it, multicolored and well done.
Only the lack of a steel button on the end made this less than an ideal weapon of it's type. (For some reason, the button was of light alloy).
And if you want an instant pet, try the Giant Brine Shrimp, sold in toy stores.
This yields a hideous arthopod nearly an inch across-when I was in the Army, some specimens of this creature were misidentified as trilobites(long extinct), causing a brief stir in the ol' Mojave desert.
These things lay eggs that can stay dormant for centuries, then hatch in a day, lay more eggs, and hope for the best.
Educational fun for all.
Since I don't have much to do these days(out of work again) I may indeed attempt to find out who holds the patent, now that von Braunhut has been gathered to his fathers(and what a welcome he'll get, as he was born a Jew, and joined the Nazi Party.).
Let us pause to remember this chiseling bastard, who brought so much disappointing fun to so many suckers over the years, and wonder how he escaped a mail fraud charge for so long.
He'll be remembered!
