Tommy Lee Dagger

Post by prober996 »

Hi all, new member here. I have a few daggers that I inherited from my father and a few that I collected. I'll post them on this forum over the next few days. The first one is a dagger made by Tommy Lee. The scales are elephant ivory. The bolster was engraved by Mel Wood.

Love those scales ,just quality .
Would have been expensive aswell ,I love the American knives by Dozier ,parish Lyle etc and this looks of that time .

Keen blade, that is! What a beauty. It looks as if it would be useful as a "real world" knife, rather than just a "showpiece" or "safe queen".

Really nice!
Ivory scales are a nice touch.
If it was going to be used in a last ditch situation Rhino scales would be best.
Rhino horn gets sticky when it's wet and won't slip out of your grip.
Then again, no one can source Rhino horn these days.
