New Boker XXL Kalasnikov

Post by whippersnapper »

Anyone touched one yet? Pretty big honker at 10.625 inches. I use to edc the regular and mini versions when they first came out. I still have a couple tucked away that I actually use on occasion. Always thought they were a good value.

I picked up the Boker Kalashnikov Automatic Knife 74 a few years ago it’s a fabulous knife. I’m guessing these big one are just as good.

I believe the large ones are just plain bladed with the clip or bowie style tip.

Hi Terry,
You’re mentioning of a mini version got me searching the web for one. I did find them on the Boker site https://www.boker.de
The site has it for way too much money 75 euros; the XXL cost less than the mini on the blade hq site.

I remember that, that was a ways back. I used to have one of each even the smaller ones but I can't remember who I sold them to. Traded off my stilettos for a pistol but I still have my Stray Dog customs, don't have the pistol. Traded it off on another pistol.

Always thought Kalasnikov's were great knives for the money and still have a one or two Ak-47's that I bought a long time back, but always wished they had a sliding safety ( have had some bad luck with knives popping in my pocket). About three years ago I bought a Boker Plus Strike model for about $40 / Aus 8 steel and it's been fantastic, right down my alley, and along with a little white pearlex Italian flatgrind has been in my pocket almost every day for a long while.
Hi Terry, hope you are a-ok.

The original AK-47's had a safety on the rear spine. I think they had to remove them after a patent lawsuit. I don't remember who sued them (or threatened to sue them).

Benchmade if I'm not mistaken. The AK47 Didn't have a pocket clip like the 74 does.
