Nice! It doesn’t get any better. Knives from United Cutlery were the highest quality made.

It's hard to put a price on any old knife as it fluctuates so much and everyone has a different option about it. But the knives like Coricamas will be at least 2x as much as your standard vintage picklock. They are older and notably bigger knives. I think these are the thickest picklocks that were ever made (2cm from bolster surface to bolster surface). And they have dovetail springs.

Hi mate

Thanks just interested and learning as I go as you know,
Your Frosolone was beautiful and the coricamas and blown away by the quality of your hand made knives.

I think I’m gonna knuckle down and save to get something nice if you could keep your eyes open for something special mate.

Cheers

An average condition 13" Coricama can be had for $1000, or so. I have seen a couple in Near Mint condition sell for $2000-2500, but I have never heard of one selling for more than that.... until now. That's my experience of 40 years of collecting switchblades and working on three switchblade books.
Life is not a destination.... but a journey. Don't forget to stop and smell the Roses as you go!

(Couldn't hurt to pick up a few switchblades along the way too! ) ;-)
