I started making kris blades recently. Once I figured out the technique, it wasn't too hard. Basically, you cut the wavy profile, then to sand the edge, you run it length-wise down the rounded end of a sander. Sharpening the edge is done the same way. But to get the right side-tapering degree (whatever you call that) to allow for a nice sharp edge just seems like a lost cause on this style of blade. It looks cool but not meant for an EDC.
