Got one of those German OTFs from Tiny yesterday. Suprisingly solid for 30 bucks. It won't go through a metal oil drum or anything, but then again, who'd want to try it? Wasn't a big deal getting the ring mounted on it either. Now I have to practice twirling it.

Hey zack how much play is in the blade? Would it be concealable? And can it be used for light tasks?

J Man,
There is a little side-to-side blade play. It takes a bit of pressure to make it happen, but it is noticeable. If you don't mount the ring, it'll fit in a pocket, but, it is a little bulky. We're talking 4 7/8" long, 7/8" wide, and 3/8" thick closed and shaped like a long, narrow box. In order for it to be used for any task, you're gonna have to put some kind of an edge on it. Other than 200 - 600 dollar pieces, OTFs are, in my humble opinion, novelties.

Jerr Bear,
Whacked??? ME??? I'll have you know... well, maybe you have a point... I do have my moments.

Hey Bear,
Kiddin' around is what it's all about, right? Besides, I admit I enjoy those "whacked" moments... whenever one comes along.

Hey Bear,
I promise. I'm pretty good at keepin' secrets.

Didja ever have one of those nights where ya end up whacked, tacked, packed, stacked, and racked? Been a while for me... In fact, I don't really think I could live through one of those any more...

Mr. Zack,

I have a "Tomb Raider" knife on the way. But I was just wondering, why are they referred to as "Tomb Raider" switchblades? I watched the movie but it doesn't look like the same knife. Is there a different Tomb Raider movie?
Oh well, the knife will still look good in my collection. And as for the movie.....Man was she hot or what????

Dare,
There's a side open on KS in the French section that looks like the one in the movie.
As inexpensive OTF's go, the "Tomb Raider" is a pretty good one. I think you'll be happy with it.
Hot is right... She definitely does NOT fall into the "or what" category!
