Re: Older 8" Italian Swingers

Nice texans! Seems the scales/body are tapered, almost wasp-body appearance. Would you estimate this one from the 60's?

Yes thom, the new 11" in the middle (of course). I'm glad we got to take advantage of Angelo offering the RPs.

...lol, no, you certainly don't see them for sale too often (or I'd have one lol).

Re: Introduce myself and websites

I can see more so on the "bad ones" as they get a bad reputation and possibly attempt to fool the buying public into thinking they are dealing with another place. But, I agree about not understanding on why the more reputable sites do it as well. Same stock, same procedure, different name.

Re: Flade Blade

Is it a type of knife? Is it a stamp? I'd like to see this one. All I get when I search is a YT channel called "Blade Flade" and this thread. I believe it's just a typo in a sales description. (Unless it's code word for Flat-Grind/Standard Blade lol)... http://www.sharperdeals.net/index.php?module=...

Re: Coricama 13" Early Italian Stiletto Switchblade Model Possibly Battle Worn WWII

I hadn't thought much about the English stamps on Italian made knives until I saw "PROTOTIPO" instead of PROTOTYPE written on one of Renzo Pascotto's. Then...I wondered why myself.

Re: Curious

I wasn't aware that Frank B produced a Frosolone style Scott. I've seen his Stiletto with no bottom bolsters. I certainly prefer N/S bolsters and would think any limited edition piece would have them, but apparently not(?).
