No bearings in my launch 8.

Blade doesn't have a lot of mass in it, spring is wound fairly tightly.

Great bang for the buck though.

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull makes a similar mistake.

You can even see Shia moving the bolster.

Re: Movie Switchblades

Will Smith's latest misfire, Gemini Man, has a Microtech Cypher in it.

If it's not the real thing, it's one of the high quality Chinese clones.

Black handle, Wharnie style blade.

Saw the film for free. still feel a bit ripped off.

Re: So Stilettos are NOT illegal to sell in Italy?

What are they selling for price wise? I hear you need a permit to buy if you're an Italian citizen, but ok to but for tourist. That could explain it. Have passed a couple of dedicated knife stores and no autos in them. 11s are running are running around 55 euro 9s.. 45, 8s were.. 40? "'Tactical" au...

So Stilettos are NOT illegal to sell in Italy?

For years I thought Stilettos were produced in Italy for export only. Well I'm in Venice, and have seen a few for sale in small newsagents / souvenir stores. Nothing exotic. Faux dark horn or white pearlex. 8 / 9 / 11 inches Bought an 11 inch dark horn, less spring power than I recall, stiffer bolst...

Are certain blade profiles restricted in France?

I know, it's a very specific question, and maybe even a bit obscure, but i've wondered about this for a while now. After years of looking at Italian Stilettos on French sites, visiting knife shops in France, i've noticed a recurring theme. It seems like almost all of them, vintage and new, are full ...

Anything to see in Maniago?

I plan to (finally) visit Venice at some point in the New Year, and am aware that Maniago is not terribly far away. I don't expect factory tours, but was wondering if there's any cutlery sights / shopping in Maniago? Having had a quick look, seems Venice doesn't have a wide rang of such shops. Thanks
