Hi all...I was wondering...We know about the makers of the more modern swinguards by their stamp. Commonly: A.G.A. Campolin's 13", Frank Beltrame's 11" and AKC's 9". But, so many of the "older" swinguards (1960's?), usually are just generic stamps such as: INOX, ROSTFREI, MADEINITALY, PATENT, etc..W...

Amazing Barb! I (we) have seen some beautifully polished stainless steel and these are great examples. All the stainless steel bolsters in my collection, turn that rather ugly gray (grey?) color. I wish I knew how to mirror shine them anywhere near your examples. Really nice!

Beautiful Barb! Super sweet scales. Are the bolsters really stainless? They have that "golden tone" like nickel/silver gets. They sure can polish stainless up nice! (I've often wondered how they polish stainless up to such a shine).

Love that traditional bayo too,always liked that best on the 11s. lol...Yes Ron, the guy (you) that parted with those 2 beauties will always be appreciated! I'm pretty sure all blade ...

Thanks Jerrod. The bottom 11" traditional bayo you may recognize, it use to be yours! lol. I'm surprised Walt hasn't posted the 9"s yet. I'd at least like to "window shop".

I know he mentioned he was short-handed, but had finally found help to get them online. That was quite a while ago. I'm sure we would all love...

Small collection going on.....Has anyone heard any further on the 9"ers making it on to Walt's site? I'd like to see what more 9" are available, but none there yet...

Thom, did you have this piece rescaled with the MOP? The stamp looks like the newest models, but I never saw MOP in the new Walt's. I think I saw one Walt's in MOP before (not the Elite models), that had MOP scales but, for some odd reason, the bolsters were stainless steel instead of nickel/silver....

Very nice set Barb! I'm going to take a wild guess that VT stands for Virgin Teflon, but not 100% positive.
